Nearby: Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park, and much of our country's food supply
Notes: The first time I was here, I was on my way to Yosemite with my now-ex. We sat outside in the semi-deserted shopping center and enjoyed a pleasant meal before our adventure.
This time, I was on my way back from a solo trip to Kings Canyon and Sequoia.
Sorry, to the waitstaff, for my smell. I came around 4, before the dinner rush and had a booth to myself. I'm sure I was a sight, greasy frazzled unwashed hair. I'd changed into clean clothes. But, I didn't realize until after the shower later, how bad my jacket was. So, sorry. Thanks for letting me through the door.
I forgot just how good their beer was.
The food: major meh. But the beer was fantastic. I usually like to drink my samplers from worst to best. I struggled to pick a worst. They were all solid. All, very clean finish, and very impressive. I wish they were in Maryland!
For food, I got a pizza. To say it was a let-down is an understatement and this was the first hot food I'd had in a week! I guess I'm biased about pizza being from New York. California pizza does tend to be pretty bad, but restaurant pizza tends to be better than california pizzaria pizza. oh well. Great beer.
