101 Cookbooks A vegetarian cooking blog that gmail ads insisted I'd love for months before I checked it out. Google was right, Heidi Swanson is an inspired vegetarian chef from San Fransisco and now often my dinners start here.

Geocaching Hiking with a purpose. This site is a database of geocaches, or boxes hidden around the world with GPS coordinates posted online. The boxes are usually (or ideally) at locations you'd want to visit and stocked with goodies you can trade for.
Touring the World on a Bicycle This is a great read, with details about the entire trip from Barrow, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina along the Pan American Highway on bike. I found this website after seeing the Film "Take a Ride" at the Banff Mountain Film festival in 2010. Dominic Gill, another biker makes the trip on a tandem bicycle picking up people along the way to travel with him. This is something I would love to do someday.
